Their story began decades ago at a Milwaukee poetry club, where a serendipitous encounter sparked a lifelong creative partnership. Launching as Sometimes Y, comprising multi-instrumentalist Rob McWilliam, the WAMI awarded ensemble achieved major recognition within the Wisconsin music scene. Their debut LP I Am—produced by Vincent Gaudes in collaboration with EMMY winning composer Peter Buffett and mastered by the 12-time GRAMMI acclaimed Bob Ludwig—is a testament to their artistic vision and visceral craft.
